Moldovan president visits JLC company

Chisinau, 7 February /MOLDPRES/- Moldovan President Igor Dodon visited JLC joint stock company - one of the largest domestic milk processing companies and recognized leader of dairy products in Moldova, the presidential press service has reported.

During the visit, the president was familiar with the activity of the company which was set up in 2004, and currently has about 2,000 employees and produces over 100 types of dairy products and other products.

Dodon discussed with management and workers of the company about work conditions, shortage of raw material, plans for future. He welcomed that the company has a high level of technical equipment due to which it manufactures high quality products.

The head of state reiterated that the presidential administration will always take into account the interests and needs of local producers and provide all necessary support for business development in the country and diversification of markets. In this context, Dodon said that the presidential institution promotes several legislative initiatives, including the draft law requiring that the store chains have national products on the shelves of at least 50%.
