Meteorologists announce yellow code of strong wind in Moldova

Chisinau, 10 February /MOLDPRES/- The State Hydrometeorological Service (SHS) announced Yellow Code of strong wind on 10 February.

According to meteorologists, today, in large areas, south wind is expected gusting up to 15-20 meters per second. In this context, rescuers recommend avoiding places where there are dry trees or high voltage electrical wires.

According to SHS data, in the following days, throughout the country, the air temperature will reach minus 3 - plus 2 degrees Celsius at night and up to 8-10 degrees during the day. Also, on Tuesday, rainfall is forecast throughout the country.

If Yellow Code, the weather conditions are potentially dangerous, the forecast meteorological phenomena are common to the country, and may temporarily become dangerous for certain socio-economic activities.
