Electronic signature increasingly requested by citizens

Chisinau, 11 February /MOLDPRES/- More and more people choose electronic signature to sign documents, according to statistics by the Registration Center of the Center for Information Technology in Finance (CTIF).

Thus, during the last year, the number of private people who applied for and received from CTIF the electronic signature exceeded the threshold of 18 thousand. This indicator increased by 11.3 per cent compared to 2018. The absolute majority of beneficiaries have renewed their public key certificates.

CTIF statistics also show that in late 2019, the total number of private people and legal entities holding electronic signatures issued by CTIF made up 32.4 thousand.

The electronic signature offers access to all available electronic public services. It can be used in the information systems MSign, e-Reporting, e-Statement, e-Invoice, e-Licensing, e-Civil Status, e-Procurement, etc.
