The 2020 year declared Economic Development Year in south Moldova settlement

Chisinau, 11 February /MOLDPRES/ - The 2020 year has been declared Economic Development Year in the Ceadar-Lunga municipality from southern Moldova. The municipal council of this settlement took a decision to this effect today.
The proposal to dedicate this year especially to activities of Ceadar-Lunga’s economic development has come from the mayor of this settlement, Anatoli Topal. The mayor said that, in 2020, a string of projects were planned to be implemented in Ceadar-Lunga, one of which deals with the arrangement of a sub-zone of the Valcanes Free Economic Zone (FEZ).
“With the decision to declare 2020 as Economic Development Year, we will have additional arguments to appeal to the regional and central authorities, as well as donors for help which we should use for the development of the municipality’s economy,” Anatoli Topal said, cited by the webpage www.gagauzinfo.md.
At the same meeting, the municipal authorities from Ceadar-Lunga approved a regional plan on the arrangement of a ground of 1.6 hectares on the area of the industrial park. Five million lei was provided for in the Gagauz autonomy’s budget for the ground’s connection to the networks of water, electricity and natural gas supply.
