Over 8,500 vacant jobs recorded in Moldova

Chisinau, 11 February /MOLDPRES/ - There are more than 8,500 vacant jobs in Moldova.
The National Employment Agency of Moldova (ANOFM) has published the Labour Market’s Observer, which shows that 8,686 vacant jobs were in the records on 10 February 2020.
As many as 1,806 jobs are available for people with higher and secondary specialized education. Yet, while taking into account the government decision No 672 from 17 December 2019 on the vacant jobs in public authorities (specialist, including chief specialist), a temporary moratorium on employment was set.
ANOFM provides 6,880 jobs for people with secondary vocational education, which accounts for 79 per cent of all vacant jobs.
The bulletin of the Labour Market’s Observer is worked out in accordance with the Classifier of jobs from Moldova, approved under an order by the Labour, Social Protection and Family Ministry in March 2014.
