Moldovan electoral body approves ballot paper for parliamentary polls from Hancesti uninominal district

Chisinau, 11 February /MOLDPRES/ - The Central Electoral Commission (CEC) today approved the ballot paper for the new parliamentary polls due to be held in the Hancesti uninominal district from central Moldova.  

Under the CEC’s decision, the width of the ballot paper will be of 14 cm; the symbol of the electoral contender will be on the left side; the family name and the first name of the candidate will be placed in the central part and the place for applying the stamp with the inscription “Voted” will be on the right side of the ballot paper. The names of the electoral contended will be written with capital letters, which will have the same features.

Also, the electoral council of the uninominal district 38 from Hancesti registered Anatolie Postolachi as candidate of the Liberal Democratic Party of Moldova (PLDM) for the MP seat. Postolachi will be the seventh candidate registered for this position. It is worth mentioning that the following candidates have been recorded so far: Ion Mereuta (Democratic Party of Moldova), Stefan Gatcan (Party of Socialists), Olesea Stamate (Action and Solidarity Party), Vitalie Balinschi (Shor Party), Dorin Chirtoaca (UNION electoral bloc) and an independent candidate, Grigore Cobzac.    

The electoral council of the uninominal district 38 from the Hancesti municipality set up 44 polling stations for the new parliamentary elections due on 15 March 2020. The electoral bureaus of the polls stations will be created till 18 February.
