Moldovan head of state meets former president of Constitutional Court

Chisinau, 11 February /MOLDPRES/ - President Igor Dodon today had a meeting with the former head of the Constitutional Court, member of the Civil Society under the President of Moldova Victor Puscas.
According to the presidential press service, the sides tackled the subject on the launch of a collective monograph titled, Constituția Republicii Moldova ‒ 25 de ani (The Constitution of the Republic of Moldova – 25 Years). This work, signed by the co-authors Victor Puscas and Valeriu Kuciuk, was elaborated and edited under the aegis of Moldova’s president, on the occasion of marking the 25th anniversary of the adoption of Moldova’s Constitution in 2019.
It is worth mentioning that the monograph describes in detail the process of working out, adoption and implementation of the Constitution’s provisions. The goal of the work is to give the citizens possibility to know the role of the Constitution as supreme law in the life of the state and each of us.
In the end of the meeting, Igor Dodon voiced confidence in the launch of this monograph with mush responsibility and professionalism. He reiterated the Moldovan Presidency’s willingness to further back the scientific works and the initiatives which would turn to good account the essence of the fundamental principles laid down in the Constitution, for the benefit and prosperity of the citizens.
