Moldovan foreign minister to visit Latvia

Chisinau, 12 February /MOLDPRES/- On 12-13 February, Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Aureliu Ciocoi will pay a working visit to the Republic of Latvia, the MAEIE press service has reported.

The visit’s agenda will include meetings with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Latvia Edgars Rinkevics and Chairman of the Committee on Foreign Affairs Rihards Kols, Head of the European Affairs Committee Anda Terauda, Secretary of the Committee on National Security Daniels Pavluts and members of the Interparliamentary Friendship Group Republic of Moldova - Republic of Latvia. Ciocoi will meet Latvian experts in political sciences and international relations.

The officials will approach issues related to current stage of Moldovan-Latvian cooperation, promotion of economic relations, interaction within international organizations, Moldovan government priorities in the European integration and Eastern Partnership.
