Chisinau city hall public services to be digitized

Chisinau, 12 February /MOLDPRES/- The public services of Chisinau city hall will be digitized.

Chisinau mayor Ion Ceban today signed a memorandum of understanding with the National Association of IT Companies for the development of the digitization system of public services. "The digitization of the activity of the city hall will increase the degree of communication of Chisinau residents with local authorities and increase accessibility of citizens to services, and by reducing human factor, it will reduce corruption" he said.

For his part, the head of the National Association of IT Companies, Veaceslav Cunev, said he welcomed the signing of the cooperation agreement.

The concept of Smart City means digitizing services to citizens, improving energy consumption, improving certain types of services, which are essential to urban life, by involving IT.
