Former speakers not to benefit from facilities

Chisinau, 13 February /MOLDPRES/- Former speakers will no longer benefit from facilities to pay for utilities. A draft amendment to the Law on MP status was adopted in final reading today.

The legislative initiative belongs to PSRM MP Vasile Bolea, who says that the legal provision was worked out with deviation from the legislative technique.

The term “facilities to pay for utilities” found in the law seems to be vague, lacking clarity, or the limit of these facilities cannot be determined with certainty ”, Bolea said.
