To enhance the living standards in settlements, about one billion lei will be invested for the repair of roads within settlements and other resources will allocated for the construction of networks of aqueducts and sewerage and about 140 million lei – for streets’ illumination.
Ion Chicu tackled the issue of unauthorized waste deposits and touched upon the project promoted by the cabinet: “We enjoy the support of partners from the European Union and we will build an infrastructure for the collection and processing of solid waste. Yet, we must also impose sanctions against those who throw waste anywhere and focus on residents’ education to this end.”
In the discussions with the PM, the APL representatives approached the subjects of roads in settlements and streets’ illumination, the problem of constraints in the subsidization of activities of processing farming products, the issue of young people leaving villages, subsidization of jobs, programmes on encouraging young people, such as the First Home and allowances provided to young specialists who accept working in rural zones.
