Moldovan president visits eastern Dubasari district

Chisinau, 13 February /MOLDPRES/ - President Igor Dodon continues his visits to areas; he went to the eastern Dubasari district today. In this district, the head of state was set to visit economic agents, a kindergarten, war veterans, longeval families and with many children, to discuss the current problems with the district’s leadership, mayors and district councilors, people from the settlement, etc.
According to the presidential press service, the Moldovan president made the first halt in the Parata village, where he took knowledge of a ground where a sub-zone of the Balti Free Economic Zone (FEZ) is to be placed. Igor Dodon said that this was an ambitious project, which implies the creation of about 3,000 new jobs and attracting investors, in order to modernize the infrastructure and build production units for renting by the sub-zone’s residents.
The head of state welcomed the intentions of the local authorities and the FEZ Balti administration and voiced confidence that this project would substantially contribute to the region’s social and economic development.
