Moldovan electoral body starts election campaign for new parliamentary elections in Hancesti

Chisinau, 14 February /MOLDPRES/- The Central Election Commission today started the electoral campaign for the new parliamentary elections of 15 March 2020 in the constituency No38, Hâncești.
According to the Electoral Code, citizens of Moldova, parties and other social-political organizations, electoral blocks, candidates and reliable persons of candidates have the right to submit the electoral programs of candidates, political, professional and personal skills of candidates and to make electoral agitation in meetings with voters through media, by displaying electoral posters or other forms of communication.
At the same time, CEC urged the election officials to achieve their prerogatives in a legal, fair and professional manner and take all necessary steps to ensure a free and fair electoral process.
In this context, the CEC calls on competitors and media outlets to conduct an election campaign in strict accordance with the electoral legislation.
