President of Armenia to pay official visit to Moldova

Chisinau, 15 February /MOLDPRES/ - President Igor Dodon has had a working meeting with Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan, at the Munich International Security Conference.
According to the presidential press service, the officials discussed a string of issues on the further boosting of the Moldovan-Armenian dialogue in diverse sectors posing mutual interest.
The sides positively appreciated the contacts set at the high level, in particular, the permanent dialogue with Nikol Pashinyan at the summits of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) and Eurasian Economic Union (EEU), as well as a recent discussion with President of Armenia Armen Sarkissian, held in Jerusalem.
In the context, the sides welcomed the visit to Yerevan by a delegation of Moldova’s parliament, led by Speaker Zinaida Greceanii, scheduled for 23-25 February.
Also, Igor Dodon and Nikol Pashinyan discussed possible terms of the official visit to Moldova by the PM of Armenia in next May or June. The officials stressed the need to organize, before this, a new meeting of the intergovernmental commission for commercial and economic cooperation and a business forum, in order to update he contacts and fully implement the opportunities of the two countries.
