Moldovan premier participates in joint meeting with head of state, parliament speaker

Chisinau, 17 February /MOLDPRES/ - Prime Minister Ion Chicu today participated in the weekly meeting with President Igor Dodon and Parliament Speaker Zinaida Greceanii. The officials discussed subjects on the current week agenda of the cabinet, presidency and parliament, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.

Ion Chicu gave a news briefing, during which he shortly referred to the topics discussed, priorities set and answered journalists’ questions.

The PM informed about the forthcoming meeting of the Moldova-EU Association Committee, in which the ministers and state secretaries will participate. The Committee is an important stage in the process of Association and has the goal to set the agenda for the next period. Deputy Managing Director for Europe and Central Asia at the European External Action Service Luc Devigne will come to Chisinau to this end.
