City hall of south Moldova settlement starts programme on backing young people

Chisinau, 17 February /MOLDPRES/ - The authorities of the Ceadar-Lunga municipality, south Moldova Gagauz autonomy, have started a local programme for backing young people. The participants in a meeting of the Ceadar-Lunga municipal council adopted a decision to this end last week.
The city hall will provide grants worth up to 50,000 lei to young people who are to carry out investment projects. To benefit from support, young entrepreneurs will have to create five jobs.
The applications can be submitted by Ceadar-Lunga residents with ages up to 40 years. A special commission will be created at the city hall to select the best startups. The commission will present the information to the council for competition, according to the website www.gagauzinfo.md.
In 2020, the Ceadar-Lunga administration plans to support five projects of this kind.
