Moldovan parliament offers probations for spring session

Chisinau, 17 February /MOLDPRES/ - The parliament offers probations for the 2020 spring session, the legislative body’s communication and public relations department has reported.
The parliament will provide 29 places of probation at the secretariats of the standing commissions and at the directorates from the legislative body’s Secretariat.
Students from terminal years, persons training for master’s and doctor’s degrees, young specialists from the academic and scientific environment, civil society’s representatives can apply for the programme of probations.
The probationers will participate in the process of analysis, working out and management of legislative acts, in the procedure of legislative expertise, meetings of parliamentary commissions, other activities from the subdivisions of the parliament’s Secretariat.
The candidates should be young people up to 30 years of age, who do not have outstanding convictions or other legal restrictions to the activity in public institutions. The young people must have at least the average mark of 8.5 at the last academic session or, in case of the employed persons, working experience of up to 2 years in a non-governmental organization. At the same time, they should not be the husband/wife, relative or in-law relative, up to the third degree, including of one of the civil servants from the concerned subdivision of the parliament’s Secretariat.
The file on application to the contest will include:
- participation form;
- letter of intend;
- copy of the identity card;
- copy of the graduation diplomas acquired; statement on marks;
- copy of the certificate on the knowledge of a language of international communication (in case of degree/master education, the graduation diploma will serve as certification);
- copy of the work record book;
- criminal record or declaration on one’s own responsibility;
- copy of the mandatory health insurance policy, valid for the probation period;
- recommendation letters;

The programme of probations in Moldova’s parliament lasts up to three months and is held twice a year, on the period of the parliament’s ordinary sessions (February-July, September-December). The parliament has been holding programmes of probations since 2014.
