Moldova to become known investment destination for Dutch businesspeople

Chisinau, 17 February /MOLDPRES/ - Prime Minister Ion Chicu today met Bucharest-based Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Netherlands to Moldova Roelof van Ees, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.
Ion Chicu informed the ambassador about the actions undertaken in the first 100 days of the mandate: “There are 100 days since the government has been sworn in office. We are a technocrat cabinet. We initiated more changes, which we integrated in the government’s Action Plan for 2020-2023. We ended the budgetary year in quite good economic terms. Among our priorities, there are the justice reform, investments in the roads’ infrastructure and energy sector, as well as the attraction of foreign investors.”
The PM voiced wish to turn Moldova into a known destination for Dutch businesspeople.
Roelof van Ees positively appreciated the bilateral relations and declared for the boosting of the trade between Moldova and the Netherlands in more economic fields, noting, in particular, the agro-industrial sector.
