Career Day held at National Bank of Moldova for first time

Chisinau, 19 February /MOLDPRES/- Over one hundred young people, interested in the financial-banking sector, have learned of the work of the National Bank, in a unique event entitled Career Day, held on Tuesday for the first time by the central bank.

The event aimed to boost professional and personal development aspirations of young students of higher education institutions in the country.

National Bank governor Octavian Armașu said that employees of the institution strive for professional development, so as to be useful both to the institution and society.

During the event, nine workshops were held with different topics: banking supervision, statistical reporting, payment systems, information and security technologies, external relations and European integration.

The event took place in the context of the National Bank’s commitment to collaborate with higher education institutions in the country, based on cooperation agreements with the Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova (ASEM), Technical University of Moldova (UTM) and Moldova State University (USM).
