Cabinet to massively invest to enhance attractiveness of Moldova's districts

Chisinau, 19 February /MOLDPRES/ - Prime Minister Ion Chicu today met World Bank Country Manager for Moldova Anna Akhalkatsi. The officials discussed concrete aspects of the Moldova-WB cooperation, included in the 2018-2021 Partnership Strategy, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.

Ion Chicu referred to the cabinet’s priorities for 2020-2023, stressing the intention to massively invest in infrastructure, in order to enhance the attractiveness of Moldova’s districts as investment destinations for big industrial companies.

The World Bank is one of the important development partners of Moldova and supports projects meant for enhancing the competitiveness of the Moldovan producers, improving the business climate, modernizing the energy infrastructure, digital governance, etc.
