Chinese official statistics shows 57,805 cases of infection with coronavirus

Chisinau, 19 February /MOLDPRES/ - Official statistics data shows a number of 57,805 cases of infection with coronavirus in China.

At a today’s news conference, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Moldova Zhang Yinghong unveiled official statistics data on the pneumonia epidemic triggered by the new type of coronavirus. According to the most recent official statistic from China, 57,805 confirmed cases of infection with coronavirus, 5,284 suspect cases of infection and 2,004 death cases were recorded on 19 February.

As many as 683 cases of infection with coronavirus in 25 countries have been signaled outside China; 109 patients were treated outside the Chinese state.

The number of cases of infection with coronavirus has been decreasing in China for the 15th day in a row.
