Foreign affairs minister receives ambassador of Indonesia to Moldova

Chisinau, 20 February /MOLDPRES/ - The development of the bilateral cooperation on the political and economic dimension today were discussed by Foreign Affairs and European Integration Minister Aureliu Ciocoi and Bucharest-based Ambassador of Indonesia to Moldova Amhar Azeth, the Foreign Affairs and European Integration Ministry’s public diplomacy, strategic communication and media interaction department has reported.
The sides spoke out for boosting the bilateral dialogue, especially through fostering the exchange of high-level visits, which would stimulate the cooperation in diverse sectors, trade and investments. On the sidelines of the meeting, Minister Aureliu Ciocoi received an official invitation from his Indonesian counterpart to pay a visit to Jakarta this year.
The officials agreed to identify new opportunities of boosting the commercial and economic exchanges between the two states, in particular, by organizing a forum of businesspeople during 2020. Moldova is interested in increasing the export of Moldovan farming products to the Indonesian market and from the region.
The sides agreed upon cooperating to organize the third forum of inter-ministerial consultations at the level of state secretaries in the next spring, as well as to hold the 2020 year issue of the Indonesian Festival in Moldova.
