According to the SHS, on 24 February, rains of different intensity are expected all over the country on 24 February. The weather will be dark, cloudy, with air temperature up to +9 Celsius degrees during the day and between 0 and +5 degrees at night.

Beginning with 25 February, the warm weather returns, with maximal air temperatures oscillating between +11 and +13 Celsius degrees expected, depending on the region. On the night of 24 to 25 February, frost of -2 degrees is forecast in the central and southern regions, after which positive air temperatures are expected several days.

The tendency of warming will maintain also on the next days of the week, reaching +15 degrees.

In this winter, light snow was recorded in Moldova in some regions only several days, mostly in settlements from the northern region.

Climatologists warn about the fact that these are effects of the global warming and milder winters will be in future too. Popular meteorology says that a winter without snow means a poor summer, without harvest.
