About 1,500 rental contracts recorded at Moldova's State Fiscal Service in last January

Chisinau, 24 February /MOLDPRES/ - About 1,500 rental contracts were registered in the first month of 2020.  

According to data by the State Fiscal Service (SFS), the contracts were recorded at the fiscal service departments from the territory where they are placed. Following the renting of real estate, revenues worth 2.5 million lei were collected to the budget, exceeding the revenues collected on the same period of 2019 by 0.7 million lei or 38.4 per cent.

At the same time, during last January, SFS continued actions of complying and verifying private people who rent real estate. As a result, 1,577 rental contracts were registered on the aforementioned period. Also in last January, controls were carried out at 55 people who rent real estate, and additionally payments were calculated at the budget: basic payments – 27,100 lei, penalties – 1,200 lei and fines – 10,100 lei.    

SFS recommends that the people who rent real estate comply with the fiscal legislation and pay the tax worth 7 per cent of the incomes got.
