More than 9,000 vacant jobs recorded in Moldova

Chisinau, 25 February /MOLDPRES/ - There were 9,200 vacant jobs in the records on 24 February 2020, according to the database of the National Employment Agency (ANOFM).
There are 1,809 vacant jobs available for people with higher education and secondary education, which accounts for about 20 per cent of their overall number. A temporary moratorium of employment has been set for the vacant jobs from the public authorities (specialist, including chief, main specialist).
As for the people with secondary vocational education and unqualified workers, ANOFM provides 7,391 jobs, which accounts for 80 per cent of all jobs. Over 100 jobs are vacant in the medical system – 133 jobs of medical assistant (including family one) and the pre-school education system provides 59 vacant jobs.
Unqualified workers are urged to act as auxiliary workers – 340 jobs or as servants of production and service rooms – 141 jobs; also 136 porters and 113 sweepers are needed.
