Chisinau, 25 February /MOLDPRES/ - The leader of the Moldovan Democratic Party (PDM), Pavel Filip, says that those six MPs, who have recently left the PDM faction, started taking 5,000 euros monthly each after they had returned from Israel.
Pavel Filip publicly stated that the lawmakers members of Andrian Candu’s group had begun showing signs of enrichment after a visit paid to Israel. “Immediately after the visit to Israel, this group sharply started having finances, began going to areas, where they were making rich dinners and were giving expensive presents to people. They speak in corridors that, beginning with that month, they have been paid 5,000 euros monthly each,” Filip said.
The politician noted that he had tried to learn more details about that visit to Israel from Andrian Candu, when he was still member of the Democratic Party. “I did not get answer to my questions,” Filip specified.
The Moldovan Democrats’ leader thinks that the tandem Plahotniuc-Shor would be behind Candu’s group.
At a TV programme, another PDM MP, Alexandru Jizdan, said that, after the Candu group’s travel to Israel, these lawmakers had become richer and some of them had bought luxurious cars, which they hide from people’s eyes.
On 19 February, six MPs, led by the former parliament speaker, Andrian Candu, left the faction of Moldova’s Democratic Party and set up the Pro-Moldova faction.
