Moldovan president warns speculators in pharmaceutical sector

Chisinau, 25 February /MOLDPRES/ - The head of state has inspected the Toma Ciorba hospital of infectious diseases, in the context of the Yellow Code of coronavirus. The Moldovan president was tough with the traders from the pharmaceutical sector, who try to financially take advantage of this medical alert.
Today afternoon, President Igor Dodon visited the Chisinau-based Toma Ciorba hospital of infectious diseases. Dodon said that the institution was prepared. “I ruled to go to the airport and the hospital. A was at the airport, where an airship from Milan arrived. I want to say that the number of Moldovans coming from Italy or other countries is not increasing. At Toma Ciorba, there are several dozens of places prepared; at the same time, I was informed that special sections would be prepared in all hospitals,” Dodon said.
The president came up with a tough message for the traders who try to make money from the emerged situation. “We say those who attempt to do business at the expense of the people’s needs that we will seriously deal with this fact; do not try to make money, we will act toughly,” the president stressed.
Igor Dodon said that he had received more messages from citizens, asking him if it would not be the case for the head of state to summon the Supreme Security Council to a meeting, in the context of the emerged situation. “I ruled to personally check what is happening, in order to understand whether if it is necessary to convene the Supreme Security Council,” the president added.
