Foreign affairs ministers of Moldova, Russia discuss in Geneva

Chisinau, 25 February /MOLDPRES/ - Foreign Affairs and European Integration Minister Aureliu Ciocoi today had a meeting with his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov, held on the sidelines of the Ministerial Segment of the 43rd Session of the United Nations Human Rights Council, the Foreign Affairs and European Integration Ministry’s press service has reported.

The two officials tackled more topical subjects on the agenda of the bilateral relations and confirmed both sides’ willingness to continuously promote the dialogue in diverse sectors of mutual interest. In the context, the sides discussed the bilateral actions planned for 2020, including the consultations on the line of the foreign affairs ministries, as well as a string of high-level meetings.

The Moldovan diplomacy head reiterated the invitation to his Russian counterpart to pay a visit to Moldova.
