Moldova to get 500 million dollar- credit from Russia - President says

Chisinau, 26 February /MOLDPRES/- President Igor Dodon announced conditions our country will get 500 million dollars credit from the Russian Federation. The statements were made yesterday by the head of state during a show.

The credit from the Russian Federation will come in the coming weeks, and the rectification of the state budget will most likely take place in late March - early April.

In November 2019, following a visit to Moscow, Prime Minister Ion Chicu said that Moldova would get a 500-million dollar-credit.

Subsequently, Dodon said that the money will be used to repair several roads in the country. "12 tenders were announced for 784 km of road worth 2.3 billion lei", he said.
