Moldovan foreign affairs minister has meeting with Croatian counterpart

Chisinau, 26 February /MOLDPRES/ - Foreign Affairs and European Integration Minister Aureliu Ciocoi has had a meeting with Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of Croatia Gordan Grlić Radman, on the sidelines of the High-Level Segment of the 43rd Session of the United Nations Human Rights Council, held in Geneva.
According to the Foreign Affairs and European Integration Ministry’s public diplomacy, strategic communication and media interaction service, the officials reviewed the priorities on the bilateral agenda, in the preparation of the political and diplomatic dialogue from 2020, in line with the agreements reached by the PMs of Moldova and Croatia on the sidelines of the recent Summit of the central European Initiative held in Rome.
Minister Ciocoi appreciated the Croatian side for the constant support for Moldova’s European agenda and for keeping the country on the list of states beneficiaries of development assistance. Also, given that Croatia holds the rotating Presidency of the EU Council in the first half of 2020, the Moldovan foreign affairs minister stressed the need to pay increased attention to strengthening the dialogue between the European Union and the Eastern Partnership states, including Moldova.
