PM says Moldova's way European integration

Chisinau, 26 February /MOLDPRES/ - Moldova’s way is the European integration; yet, politicians should give up the slogans about EU. Or, namely under these slogans, the one billion of dollars was stolen and the foundations of the  country’s demolition were laid.  Prime Minister Ion Chicu expressed opinions to this effect at a programme on a private TV channel.   

According to Chicu, Moldova will not give up its economic interests on the eastern markets, but if it comes to the European integration, it is clear that we aspire to it. “Another thing is that, if we have great slogans about the European integration and do not take care to make proper order at home, we will not only fail to get into EU, but will get stuck in trash,” Chicu noted.  

The PM says that the Moldovan politicians must forget about PR at the expense of the European integration and start working. “The incapacity to manage the things has been covered, too much time, with slogans about integration into EU. Let us see what has happened in these ten years, especially in 2010-2011, when the European integration was everything. It was at that time when the foundations of the robbery were laid and the EU slogan was everywhere. It is better to have less PR, les brotherly meetings; let us work and you will see that we will get into EU quicker,” the prime minister added.
