Government approves plan on foreigners' integration in Moldova

Chisinau, 26 February /MOLDPRES/ - The cabinet of ministers today approved an action plan on the integration of foreigners in Moldova for 2020.

Under the decision, the ministries and other central administrative authorities with responsibilities in this sector will undertake needed measures, in order to ensure the full implementation of the provisions contained in the action plan on foreigners’ integration in Moldova for 2020 and will inform the Interior Ministry (MAI) (competent authority for foreigners) about this.  

At the same time, MAI, in the end of the calendar year, will submit to the government an integrated report on the degree of adaptation of foreigners and, as case may be, will propose necessary solutions and intervention measures.  

The carrying out of the actions included in the aforementioned plan will be made at the expense and within the limits of the annually approved allocations in the budgets of the public authorities involved, as well as from other sources, according to the legislation.
