Parents bringing up at least four children to benefit from free of charge health insurance policies in Moldova

Chisinau, 27 February /MOLDPRES/ - Both parents, including adoptive ones, who bring up at least four children, will benefit from status of insured person in the system of Mandatory Health Insurances (AOAM). The lawmakers today adopted a draft law for the amendment of the article 4 of the law on the mandatory health insurance in two readings.

Under the draft, the parent, including the adoptive one, who effectively provides the bringing up and education of four and more children, for a period in which at least one child reaches the age of 18 years, will benefit from status of insured person in the AOAM system. The justifying documents which confirm the fact that the parent who effectively provides the bringing up and education of children will be released by the territorial social assistance structures.
