Chisinau, 27 February /MOLDPRES/ - The government has approved the Technical Concept on the System of Integrated Management in the Road Transport. The platform will allow the National Road Transport Agency (ANTA) to carry out electronically all regulatory and supervision activities: release of transport authorizations, travel tickets in the public transport; monitoring GPS, as well as the record of vehicles as to whether they underwent the technical testing or not, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.
The system will prompt the digitization of documents in the transport sector and will enhance the direct access of citizens and road economic agents to ANTA’s services. It will provide the electronic circulation of acts between ANTA and other public authorities.
The transparency of ANTA’s work will grow due to the electronic system, especially at the release of permissive acts in the transport sector; the waiting time of people will be shortened and the work of road transport operators will be monitored more efficiently.
The costs for the project’s development will be partially covered by the United States Agency for International Development, based on an agreement on cooperation with ANTA, signed in 2018.
