Moldovan deputy premier meets United Nations Resident Coordinator

Chisinau, 27 February /MOLDPRES/ - Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Alexandru Flenchea today had a working meeting with United Nations Resident Coordinator in Moldova Simon Springett, the Reintegration Policies Bureau has reported.
The officials discussed a wide range of activities and projects carried out by the UN agencies and which promote the confidence building measures and highlighted their importance for the promotion of the Transnistrian settlement process.
At the same time, the deputy prime minister stressed the importance of the projects meant to tackle the problems related to the human rights in the Transnistrian region.
At the same time, Deputy Prime Minister Alexandru Flenchea thanked for the support provided by the international partners involved. He noted that Moldova’s authorities showed continuous openness in the promotion of projects meant to improve the living conditions of the residents from both banks of Dniester.
