39 suspected cases of COVID-19 registered in Moldova

Chisinau, 13 March /MOLDPRES/- At the moment, in the hospitals of the Republic of Moldova there are 39 persons suspected of infection with COVID-19, of which 10 children and two mothers. Minister of Health, Labor and Social Protection Viorica Dumbrăveanu made the statement today.
The official repeatedly called on citizens to be responsible and to respect the instructions of the authorities, and especially those of the medical staff.
The minister said that the health condition of the six patients with COVID-19 is of average severity and is in a positive dynamic. She added that yesterday the 1000 tests for COVID-19 sent by WHO, as well as a batch of special equipment reached the ANSP headquarters.
The World Health Organization announced on Wednesday that the Covid-19 epidemic could be declared as a pandemic. Until 13 March, 6 cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) have been confirmed in Moldova.
