Information sessions to be organized to support several EU-funded regional projects

Chisinau, 8 April /MOLDPRES/- More information sessions will be organized for the representatives of the companies in the civil construction, intending to participate in international tenders announced for a number of regional development projects, with European funding, in the areas related to water supply, sewerage and energy efficiency in public buildings.  The sessions are scheduled for 9-13 April.

The additional support to the private sector is offered by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Moldova as a partner of the German International Cooperation Agency (GIZ) and the Regional Development Agencies in our country.

Session agendas provide information on procurement procedures according to European Union rules on the creation of consortia in public procurement contracts under the European Union directives etc.

Representatives of companies performing construction work in the energy efficiency and water supply and sewerage in public buildings / civil constructions can attend the sessions.

Lately, the Regional Development Agencies in the country (South, Center and North) have announced international tenders for several EU-funded projects, due to be achieved through GIZ. These include the extension of the sewerage system and construction of wastewater pumping station in Leova, the energy efficiency of the high schools in Balti, Basarabeasca and Leova, the gymnasium in Flamânzeni village, Sangerei district, improvement of water supply services in Edineţ, Falesti, Drochia etc.
