One more medical institution prepared to treat people sick with coronavirus in Moldova

Chisinau, 8 April /MOLDPRES/ The Constructorul public medical and sanitary institution from Chisinau is prepared to treat patients sick with COVID-19.
The Chisinau general mayor, Ion Ceban, has informed that the Constructorul public medical and sanitary institution from the Moldovan capital’s Botanica district was ready to receive 120 people infected with COVID-19.
According to Ceban, the city hall allocated 500,000 lei for the arrangement of rooms needed and will donate 3,500 protection costumes for physicians, 1,000 pairs of shoes, 600 coats, 1,000 visors, 50 sets of bedclothes, 80 thermometers, disinfectant.
The official noted that, at this stage, decision-makers were establishing the number of medical staff due to work at this hospital.
The fourth scenario of the evolution of the coronavirus pandemic started in Moldova, after the number of people infected with this virus had reached more than 1,000.
Presently, 27 hospitals are activated, which treat patients sick with COVID-19. The hospitals are placed in districts, regionally and nationally. Also, a COVID-19 sorting centre was set up at MoldExpo. Depending on the need, the authorities said that new sorting centres might be arranged.
