Moldovan diplomacy head has phone conversation with Director General of Danube Commission Secretariat

Chisinau, 9 April /MOLDPRES/ - Ways of ensuring free navigation on Danube and the security and safety measures on the period of the COVID-19 pandemic were the main subjects discussed by Foreign Affairs and European Integration Minister Oleg Tulea and Director General of the Danube Commission Secretariat Manfred Seits, the Foreign Affairs and European Integration Ministry’s press service has reported.
The officials tackled the working agenda of the Danube Commission Secretariat, in particular, the working group on the legal and financial issues, the Session 94 of the Danube Commission and the regime of holding these meetings. The immediate priority represents the election of the new leadership of the Danube Commission for 2020-2023.
Presently, Moldova holds the mandate of deputy chairman of the Danube Commission, which will expire in next June.
