Chisinau, 10 April /MOLDPRES/- Ukraine has stopped the activity of the border crossing points Kelmențî and Sokireanî.
According to the Border Police, today starting at 07:00, Ukraine has stopped the activity of the border crossing points Kelmențî and Sokireanî.
Under these conditions, the Moldovan authorities are unable to reopen traffic through the border crossing points Larga and Ocnița respectively.
On 8 April the Commission for Emergencies decided that the activity of the border crossing points Ocnița - Sokireanî and Larga - Kelmențî will be restored starting today at 08:00.
Travelers and freight carriers who planned exit or entry to Moldova through the mentioned crossing points should opt for the Otaci-Moghiliov-Podolsk customs.
The statistical data provided by the Border Police show that in the last 24 hours, at the border crossing points, the flow of people was 2, 437. A larger number was registered at entry to Moldova - 1,600 people crossings, of which 780 crossings at the Moldovan-Romanian border, 593 crossings with Ukraine and 227 crossings by air (charter flights).
