Instruction No26 of 7 May 2020 of Commission for Emergencies

Chisinau, 7 May /MOLDPRES/- In accordance with Article 22 of Law No 212/2004 on state of emergency, siege and war, Article 2 of the parliament decision No55/2020 on state of emergency, p.6,7,8,9 of the Regulation of the Commission for Emergencies, approved by government decision No 1340/2001, the Commission for Emergencies orders:
1.Exemption from customs duties, duties on customs procedures and VAT:
1.1.the goods offered as a donation for the needs of public medical institutions in Moldova (Timofei Moşneaga republican hospital), granted by Romania to Moldova to support in the fight against COVID-19 epidemic worth 3.5 million euros, due to be distributed to public medical institutions, according to the Instruction of the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection;
1.2.goods (gloves, hand sanitizer and blankets), donated by Austria for the needs of the General Inspectorate for Emergencies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
2.It is authorized the entry on 7 May 2020 through the state border crossing points open to international traffic and temporary stay in Moldova of 49 Romanian citizens, within the humanitarian mission granted by Romania to the Republic of Moldova to support the fight against COVID.
3.The charter flight AMSTERDAM - KIEV - CHISINAU is authorized on 8 May 2020 for the repatriation of Moldovan citizens operated by Titan Airways company.
4.The Instruction shall enter into force upon issue and shall be published on the official website of the government.
