144 cases of COVID-19 registered in health system in Chisinau

Chisinau, 11 May /MOLDPRES/- Tatiana Bucearschi, head of the General Directorate of Social Assistance and Health, said on Monday at the online meeting of Chisinau city hall services that 144 medical staff infected with COVID-19 had been registered in the municipal health system.

According to the official, a large number of infections were registered among the medical staff from Sf. Treime Municipal Hospital.

Out of the total number of COVID-19 diseases registered in the Republic of Moldova - 4877, a number of 1529 cases belong to the municipality of Chisinau. "Regarding the number of deaths, out of 165, we have 46 registered in Chisinau".

According to official statistics, 1,098 health workers are infected with COVID-19.
