President meets leadership of Moldovan Banks' Association, business associations

Chisinau, 11 May /MOLDPRES/ - President Igor Dodon today had meeting with the leadership of Moldova’s Bank’s Association and of several business associations. The sides discussed the situation in the economy in the conditions of crisis triggered by the pandemic and the social problems coming from it, the presidential press service has reported.  

The head of state informed about the fact that, so far, he had organized about ten meetings of this kind with representatives of various branches of the national economy, during which the financial difficulties were mentioned as foremost.  

In particular, Igor Dodon said that the business circles had signaled problems as to the getting of loans and the state, for its part, voiced willingness to pay the interest on the loans for legal entities, based on the applications submitted.  

As for the difficult situation in Moldova, the president asked the interlocutors to formulate more tasks which, according to them, must be solved and, in strict coordination with the state power bodies, establish ways of their carrying out.
