Moldovan war veterans to receive health insurance policies for free

Chisinau, 16 July /MOLDPRES/ - The state will provide mandatory health insurance premium to the war veterans free of charge. The MPs adopted a draft law on the matter in the final reading today.
Thus, Moldova’s citizens, who reside in the country, but receive social insurances pensions from other states, will benefit from mandatory health insurance premium as well. Also, the employed war veterans will get the status of person insured by the government.
The same draft sees the increase in the quantum of state monthly allocation from 250 to 500 lei to the participants in the World War II or in combat actions in peaceful time, dead on duty, people with disabilities in the wake of war, descendants of the dead people, participants in the Chernobyl accident relief works.
