Chisinau city hall to monitor observanbce of process of nourishment's organization in school canteens

Chisinau, 4 February /MOLDPRES/ - The Chisinau city hall will monitor the process of organizing the nourishment of children with warm food at pre-university education institutions from the Moldovan capital.   

The Chisinau deputy mayor, Inga Ionesii, today signed an instruction on the setting up of a commission which is to monitor the process of nourishment in schools on the period 10 February – 31 May 2021.

The commission is made up of representatives of municipal subdivisions of the municipal enterprise, Central Market, municipal department for food safety Chisinau, Chisinau Public Health Centre, municipal councilors and civil society’s representatives.   

Under the instruction, the monitoring commission will watch the quality and quantity of food products supplied to education institutions’ canteens; presence and observance of the model menu for ten days, coordinated with the Public Health Centre; the distribution daily menu, compiled based on the model menu; complying of the physiological consumption norm for each pupils with the menu’s indications; observance of the recommendations as to the work of the nourishment unit at the education institution, in order to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 infection among pupils and employees; correctness of the formation of prices for products purchased and the dishes cooked (enforcement of the trade markup); presence of the primary document with special regime – the payment bill which contains all economic operations daily operated at tommy shops, etc.    

At the end of the controls, the working group will compile a report on the activity of economic agents, which provide food services to pupils at the pre-university education institutions.
