ANTA warns on fighting corruption in road transport, related activities

Chisinau, 5 August /MOLDPRES/- The National Transport Agency (ANTA) in partnership with the National Anticorruption Center (CNA) launched an information and awareness campaign on risks and consequences of involvement in corruption in road transport and road-related activities.
The campaign aims to inform and raise awareness of both ANTA public agents and road transport operators, activities related to road transport and citizens in general, regarding the risks and consequences of involvement in acts of corruption, the rigors of integrity and reporting corruption and any other corrupt behavior at the National Anticorruption Line and the specialized anti-corruption line within ANTA.
ANTA employees together with the CNA representatives went to the headquarters of the authorized enterprises in order to carry out the periodic technical inspection activity to distribute informative materials, in order to promote integrity in road transport. Over the next few days, he will continue to communicate with people, who will be informed about the phenomenon of corruption and the consequences it has on the good functioning of public entities and of society in general.
The nominated institutions warned that if detecting irregularities in the road transport activity, the anti-corruption lines ANTA: 0 (22) 832 065 and CNA: 0 800 5555 can be contacted.
