Moldovan president pays working visit to Criuleni district

Chisinau, 12 August /MOLDPRES/-  President Maia Sandu paid a working visit to Criuleni on Wednesday, and discussed with mayors and local councilors, doctors and economic agents about their expectations from the new government.

According to the presidential press service, the head of state asked them which areas where the Presidency can intervene with initiatives to the Government and assured them that this period of stability will be used with maximum efficiency and responsibility to solve many problems.

"Our goal is to act decisively in all sectors: to improve the business environment for all, to develop a competitive agriculture and resilience to climate change, to solve environmental problems, to increase investment in projects at the community level. The good living and working conditions are our chance to convince the young people to stay at home and to bring their parents back to the country ", said the president.

The head of state also noted that in order to succeed, we still need the support and involvement of the people, and better cooperation between public authorities. "But first we need health. Therefore, I urged all those I spoke to in Criuleni to get vaccinated and to convince other people in their community to follow their example ", Maia Sandu said.
