International Painting Biennial, 6th edition, staged at Brancusi centre

Chisinau, 18 August /MOLDPRES/- An exhibition of contemporary fine arts of the International Painting Biennial, 6th edition, was inaugurated yesterday at the Constantin Brâncuși Exhibition Center in Chisinau.

The event was organized by the Ministry of Culture, the Union of Fine Artists of Moldova and the host institution. The exhibition includes 66 works, made by 50 authors from the Republic of Moldova, Romania, Russia, USA and Ukraine.

According to PhD in the study of arts Tatiana Rașchitor, associate professor, the Chisinau Painting Biennial presents a unique phenomenon for the Republic of Moldova.

The International Painting Biennial, 6th edition, takes place on August 12-22.

The exhibition will be open until August 22.
