Chisinau, 20 August /MOLDPRES/ - The National Committee for Special Emergency Situations of Romania has updated the list of countries with epidemiological risk according to the colour codes: red, yellow and green, depending on the incidence of the Covid-19 cases. Thus, Moldova remains in the green zone, in line with the low rate of incidence of coronavirus cumulated.
According to the new sanitary regulations, Turkey and Greece, two countries preferred by Romanians for holidays, remain in the red zone; people who return to Romania from these two states automatically enter quarantine. The negative test no longer exempts the people from entering quarantine.
If the country from which the concerned person comes is in the yellow zone, he/she does not enter quarantine if vaccinated or presents a PCR test not older than 72 hours.
The quarantine measure is applied for 14 days; yet, the provision according to which a quarantined person makes a test on the eighth day of quarantine and its result is negative, can get out of quarantine on the tenth day. People who stay in Romania for less than three days are exempted from quarantine.
The new list enters into force as of 22 August.
