Six vaccinated Moldovans died from complications caused by COVID-19 - ANSP says

Chisinau, 8 September /MOLDPRES/- So far, the National Agency for Public Health (ANSP) has registered 6 deaths from complications of COVID-19 infection among vaccinated people.
5 people had one dose of vaccine and 1 person had both doses of vaccine. Of them, 3 were vaccinated with Astra Zeneca vaccine, one with Pfizer, 1 with Sputnik-V and one with Janssen / Johnson & Johnson vaccine.
ANSP states that all six people died due to complications caused by infection with the SARS CoV-2 virus, against the background of existing comorbidities and no association can be made with the vaccine administered.
According to official statistics, to date 1,306,726 doses of vaccine have been administered in our country. The national coverage with a dose is 21.96%, with a complete scheme - 20.61%.
